The Dog Days of Denim

Denim is a type of thing that always feels like home. It is one of the most classic, timeless, universal pieces of clothing. A good pair of jeans can be immanently life changing, or life constructing, rather. Denim has proved itself to be a movement in every generation. It’s constant, but not stagnant— it is consistently revolutionary in an understated way. Brilliant. Denim is made to be comfortable and reassuring, a safe haven for a woman’s hips, or the house of a man’s wallet and work boots. The magic of denim, though, is that it’s conducive for any occasion— a pair of jeans can be stained with patches of white paint from remodeling a living room, but a pair of jeans can also be dark-washed and elegant, paired with a string of pearls or a pearl-snap shirt for a night out. I prefer my denim in one of every lifestyle— comfortable, classic, contemporary, and everything in between. Not much can break the bond between a person and their favorite pair of jeans.
